For a moment I felt home again...

Hi there!

I would love to say that after our weekend Los Angeles it's very busy with flying and preparing my long navigations but that's not the fact.
We arrived Sunday-evening back at the Springs, checked the schedule and I was only planned at 4PM, what a relief not having to get up at 3 in the morning.
Anyway, when I woke up I brunched, took a shower, did as a brave boy all the laundry of LA, prepared myself for a new flight and headed to school.
Arriving there I did the usual stuff ( preparing mass & balance, doing a little chat, weather preparation, a little chat, pre-flight of the aicraft and making again a little chat while waiting for my instructor).
At 4PM (we should have been in the air already!) my instructor showed up, telling me we had to cancel because he was feeling sick. Today nobody was planned neither so I'm already two days on the ground again.
This is the time where you think "what if I knew this in advance, I could have stayed two days longer in LA". And some extra days would have been more than welcome.
It's a city with a lot of places to visit and one weekend was far from enough.
Sunday we did like I said before Hollywood, walk of fame (in Hollywood Blvd.), we did some spotting in LAX where we saw the A380 (the biggest plane in the world) and because there was a lack of time Long beach made place for Santa Monica.
The coast and the atmosphere at LA beach is amazing. Santa Monica had a large beach, bars at the side, there were palmtrees everywhere and on the pier you have a rollercoaster, carroussel, everything to enjoy the people.
If this was already nice I cannot imagine what Malibu beach (know as a big surfparadise) will look like.
There are still a lot of things to go back for but the two days were worth the trip and luckely this time it was without any car problems!
