Los Angeles

At this moment I am in Los Angeles!
Thurdsay evening we decided very last minute to leave as soon as possible after our Friday-morning-flight to 'the city of entertainment', that's how they call themselve.
After a drive of about 6 hours we arrived here Friday-evening. We directly visited LA downtown, Chinatown and we gave it a shot to drive with the car through Hollywood - and Sunset Blvd.
It is soooo busy in the city that it's not enjoyable to drive through; there are a bunch of traffic lights and a lot of traffic jams.
Today we visited Universal studio's in Hollywood.
It's a park with fast rides, shows, a drive through different sets used in real movies (the set of desperate houswives, war of the world, fast and furious,...), 4D movie of shrek, a splash,...
We heard it's a must to visit when you are in LA and we can only acknowledge that, it was worth it.
Tomorrow we still have to see Beverly Hills, Hollywood, walk of fame and Long Beach.
And in the late afternoon we have to go back already because Monday a new week of flying begins again. Normally my Long IFR navigations start somewhere next week so than I could go to Long beach/Las Vegas but this time that will be by plane.
